I felt really moved when I saw Liberty and imagined how the early immigrants, after suffering aboard cramped quarters for weeks across stormy seas, finally caught a glimpse of America and all the goodness Liberty stood for.
Irony: Liberty was quite literally behind bars - lots & lots of them. We were hustled through two rounds of airport-like security by surly guards who seem bent on crushing any personal liberty…
